Almost 50 years since they formed, British post-punk innovators, Gang of Four are taking to the stage for one last time on Tuesday 24 June 2025, at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town. Gang of Four will play their classic, debut album, 1979’s Entertainment! in full, as well as a set of fan favourites and classic tracks.
Their signature style, a mix of punk, funk, dub and radical politics is iconic, and they are hailed as one of the most influential groups of their time. Their songwriting resonates with generations of musicians and writers, from the likes of Kurt Cobain, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and REM’s Michael Stipe, and their music has been sampled by artists including Run the Jewels and Frank Ocean.
Gang of Four’s Entertainment! has also been a staple of Best Albums of all time lists, from Pitchfork to Rolling Stone. “2025 will be the 45th anniversary of the release of Entertainment! and will be our final year as a band” says Gang of Four. “It’s been wonderful, but all things must end. We want to go out with a bang and celebrate with our fans and friends. So, on what will be our last London show, we’ll play two sets at each show: Entertainment! from start to finish in the first, and the best of the rest in the second. Come and join in, it’ll be a blast!”
Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.co.uk.
