GOO GOO DOLLSUK HEADLINE TOUR JUNE 2023ALEX ALDI REMIX OF “SAVE ME FROM MYSELF”

Goo Goo Dolls have recently launched a new remix of “Save Me From Myself” by NYC producer and remixer Alex Aldi (Troye Sivan, Gryffin, Passion Pit, OAR, Magic Man, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Grey Daze). It’s an inspirational anthem, featuring guest vocals from Genevieve Schatz that finds the band at their most reflective with front man John Rzeznik’s knack for sardonic, thoughtful, lyrical phrases holding a mirror up to our shared experiences.

The track is taken from ‘Chaos In Bloom’, the first album of their career to be produced by Rzeznik which shows a band continuing to evolve. Consisting of 10 tracks including the singles Yeah, I Like You” and “You Are The Answer”, ‘Chaos In Bloom’ is an album of biting sarcasm, stadium-ready choruses and the kind of spear-sharp song writing that’s led them to becoming one of the most influential alternative rock groups.

The band recently announced a UK tour which will see them playing songs from Chaos in Bloom alongside other songs from their vast back catalogue including the indelible hit “Iris,” which eclipsed 1 billion streams on Spotify last year. On this, their first visit to the UK since February 2020, the tour kicks off in Dublin on June 13th 2023 and includes a show at London’s Eventim Apollo on 25th June. The band have also confirmed Those Damn Crows as support on the tour.
