THIRD TRACK FROM CAMILO’S NEW ALBUM DE ADENTRO PA AFUERA OUT SEPTEMBER 2022

20 June 2022 – Latin Pop Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo teams up with multi-award-winning Spanish musician Alejandro Sanz for soulful ballad, “NASA”. The song was composed by CamiloAlejandro Sanz and Édgar Barrera and is available on all digital platforms out now. Listen HERE.

This collaboration is a dream come true for Camilo who has been a faithful admirer of Sanz’s music since he was young. “Alejandro and I met last year when he came with his family to my first concert in Madrid. While we were talking, I dared to tell him that one day we would make a song together, to which he replied that he wanted to as well. Eventually we became great friends and that’s how “NASA” was born. More proof that dreams do come true,” said Camilo.

The video for “NASA,” directed by Evaluna and Marlene Montaner, was filmed in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic in April and is available to watch now on Camilo’s official YouTube channel. “NASA” follows previously released hits “Pegao” and “Índigo,” which will appear on his third album De Adentro Pa Afuera, and due for release September 2022.

The release of “NASA” coincides with the announcement that Camilo receives 7 nominations for the upcoming Premios Juventud across seven categories: Male Youth Artist, Favorite “Streaming” Artist, Best Couple Song, OMG Collaboration, Viral Track of the Year, Best Fandom, and Album of the Year. His previous album Mis Manos received a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album which followed a record-breaking 8 nominations (the most of any artist of which he won 4) at the Latin Grammy Awards earlier this year.

Recent collaborations with everyone from Shakira, through to US pop sensations Shawn Mendes and Selena Gomez has cemented his name as the newest Colombian phenomenon. Previous interviews include The New York Times, ELLE Song Association, Notion and 1883. Check out his NPR Tiny Desk Concert and his performance at Global Citizen Live.

He’s come a long way since listening to the Beatles, Pink Floyd and the Bee Gees growing up and winning the Colombian version of The X Factor in 2007. After disappearing from the limelight to write and produce songs for other artists from Bad Bunny (who’s fourth studio album broke the record of the highest first week streams worldwide on Apple Music last month), Alessia Cara, Becky G to Brazil’s biggest pop star, Anitta, it made him realise that he could conquer his own international audience with his own unique style and genre of Latin pop music.
