HARVEY JAY DODGSON REVEALS THE VIDEO FOR MOMENTOUS NEW SINGLE ‘CAROLINE’

EMERGING SOUTH COAST SONGWRITER PLAYS LONDON TOMORROW NIGHT @ THE WAITING ROOM

Shot in a sunflower field with his band in tow, the video bring this dynamic track to life even more. ‘Caroline’ displays Harvey’s fierce songwriting chops in little over two minutes, and leaves a lasting impression of a young new songwriter making a powerful statement.

Harvey talks us through all the elements of this video, and why it was so special to film… “Having Alex Fountain as the director and videographer really captured the visually creative side of the song, and was brought to life by the use of close-to-home locations: Sam’s Sunflower Fields on Hayling Island and Langstone Shore. Another element was being able to film with the newly formed band. This matches the tracks fully-produced sound and also made the process one I could share with other people”

Tomorrow night he’s marking the release with a London show at the inaugural Undercurrent night at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington, where he’ll be joining fellow South Coast band on the rise, FLOWVERS.

Hailing from Portsmouth, Harvey has already seen a remarkable ascent even before releasing music officially –  being tipped and playlisted by BT Sport and playing the Isle of Wight Festival for This Feeling earlier this month. He also finds himself in good company for an upcoming hometown show supporting The Snuts at the Wedgewood Rooms on 16th November.

‘Caroline’ by Harvey Jay Dodgson is out now here. See him live in London at The Waiting Room on 20th Oct.
