Smooth criminals, CVC, return in synth-pop, soundtrack splendour and first single in a run of AA-side releases…
BONNIE & CLYDE
CVC – Bonnie & Clyde
OUT NOW
MORE UK TOUR DATES inc. Two Nights In London
Forever feeling round the edges of conformity, soul-funk-pop-rock goodtime six-piece, CVC return with their latest, slick electro-disco spectacular, Bonnie & Clyde to set the glitterball rolling on a run of spring and summertime AA-side singles. While bopping to the beat of an imagined soundtrack to the film of their own rise from rural Wales to uncontested kings of the sweat-and-glory live circuit, the band also announces a run of 14 UK headline and festival dates – including two dates at London’s Oslo.
As prodigious as they are prolific, the separate, talented parts of the slick CVC machine have frequently shaken loose for individual, spotlight moments and Bonnie & Clyde’s primetime, three-and-a-half minutes are no exception. Sliding to the front to take the mic and take control, vocalist, Francesco ‘Cesc’ Orsi pitches his words of high-risk, high-reward romance and rule-bending adventure over CVC’s bold left turn into unambiguous and untethered drivetime synth-pop.
Breaking their post-debut-album silence late last year, CVC released The Lowrider – fronted by guitarist and singer, David Bassey – as the first new music from ambitious recording sessions with producer and co-architect of Tears For Fears era-defining album, Songs From The Big Chair, Chris Hughes. Adding new material, one release by one, to their fizzing, electric live sets, the band fronts up with Bonnie & Clyde’s cool, road movie groove before hitting the tarmac again for real.

My life is a soundtrack, i track my life through music, photography is my passion, my escape, my expression. Without both i have pieces missing, thankfully i’m blessed and get to combine both.
Born in Manchester, lived in Australia for 22 years where i was heavily involved in the Australian Music Industry, firstly in bands (Singer) and then managing bands (all original), I moved back to the UK, Wales specifically 10 years ago
