HOLLOW COVES
BRISBANE INDIE-FOLK DUO RETURN WITH NEW SONG
“LETTING GO”
Alive with earthy acoustics and breezy rhythms, “Letting Go” provides a soundtrack to the feeling of change. The essence of shifting one’s perspective is a theme Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins meditate on as they go through their own musical evolution. For their next project, they invited friend and acclaimed Aussie artist Matt Corby to help co-produce and bring their new songs to life. Speaking about “Letting Go”, Hollow Coves say:
“The song is all about letting go and moving on into a new season of life…. I feel like it’s so easy to get caught up in the feeling of being trapped when everything is going wrong and thinking nothing will ever change. A small shift in your mind or a change of space like moving back to your hometown where you can be vulnerable with the people that actually care about you.”
“Letting Go” follows another recent track “Harder to Fake It”, both of which mark the beginning of a new era for Hollow Coves. After amassing over 1-billion streams worldwide, cracking the Top 20 most used songs on Instagram Reels, and performing to euphoric crowds around the world, it’s clear Matt and Ryan have a gift for connecting with people.
