Today sees the announcement of Hideaway Festival, a brand-new boutique festival for 2023 in the heart of Essex. Taking place at The Crix, Chelmsford, Hideaway is a weekend of amazing music and family fun – making it an unmissable weekend in the summer calendar.
Kicking off strong, the festival has announced its first headliners with pop icons Clean Bandit and indie legends Bastille topping the bill, along with a host of incredible talent.
A true festival favourite, Clean Bandit have become one of the biggest groups in the country over the last decade, with their genre-spanning sound making them a stunning live act that will get bodies moving on Saturday night at Hideaway. Fans can expect hits including ‘Rather Be’, ‘Rockabye’, ‘Symphony’ and many more, with the group’s huge collection of bangers sure to create some big singalong moments.
Sunday night will see Bastille headline the Hideaway main stage for what promises to be a massive performance. With three UK number 1 albums under their belt, Bastille are undoubtedly one of Britain’s most-loved acts, and the perfect festival headliners. Known for their huge live show which gets the crowd bouncing, their performance promises to be truly special amongst the gorgeous backdrop of The Crix.
Special guests Texas are also set to join the Hideaway 2023 line up. Led by Sharleen Spiteri, Texas truly soundtracked the 90’s/00’s, with hits including ‘Say What You Want’, ‘Inner Smile’, ‘Summer Son’ and countless others.
Hideaway is also delighted to announce other impressive acts across the weekend, including indie troubadour James Bay, pop powerhouse Ella Henderson, song writing sensation Lucy Spraggan, rising star Freya Ridings and festival favourite Jake Bugg.
