JAGUAR PRESENTS UTOPIA
MIDNIGHT MOONLIGHT
LIVE LONDON SHOW – 09 DECEMBER 2022
Multifaceted DJ, journalist and BBC Radio 1 host, Jaguar brings her UTOPIA show to London for a very special date at Unit 58 on Friday 9th December.
Jaguar is among the new guard of multi-hyphenate tastemakers steering UK dance music towards brighter waters. Jaguar’s work to date, spanning from her radio internship at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra in 2014 to her landmark BBC Introducing on Radio 1 Dance show, has been anchored by a desire to spotlight new artists and minority voices within electronic music. A defining moment in her career to date, the show has been met with critical acclaim.
In 2021, Mixmag named her Broadcaster of the Year – a poignant accolade, given it was there that Jaguar’s voice and face became synonymous with its weekly office party, the LAB LDN. Elsewhere, she was awarded Best Radio Show for BBC Introducing Dance at last year’s DJ Mag Best of British Awards. The magazine had previously dubbed her “UK radio’s next gen champion”.
Turning her attention to parties, Jaguar launched UTOPIA in 2020, before expanding the brand to include a UTOPIA Talks conference and podcast. “I describe UTOPIA as my vision of the world,” says Jaguar. “It’s a world I’m trying to get to through all of the work I do: radio, DJing and so on. It’s a community.”
Excited to bring her ‘Midnight Moonlight’ UTOPIA show to London, Jaguar will be joined by special guests LP Giobbi and Sonikku. Tickets are on sale now and available from https://gigst.rs/JaguarLdn
UTOPIA is one night of colourful sounds and friendly faces created by Jaguar, dance with your soulmates, join the community, and discover your new favourite artists in one perfect moment.
