Kid Brunswick
shares new single ‘Heaven Without You’
Live at Omeara on 22nd May
Kid Brunswick has today shared his new single ‘Heaven Without You’ via Believe. It follows ‘Blow’, released earlier this year and is the second track to be taken from his upcoming EP ‘The Fall: Part 1’, due for release later this year.
‘Heaven Without You’ perfectly encapsulates his sound with the frenetic intensity of rock and the wild creativity of hip-hop. The track documents a toxic relationship, and in Kid Brunswick’s words is a “dark song people can connect to.”
Kid Brunswick talks more about the track –
“A song about heartbreak, loss, melancholic suicidal ideation. This song took 6 years to write & finish. The vocal chant was the only thing I kept from the original demo. The whole song was rewritten after I had to remove a very toxic, abusive person from my life. I used the lasting effect from that short time period with them as a subject for the lyrics in this song.”
