Lit packs Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den in Uncasville, Connecticut on November 14, 2025

1990’s Alt-rock Icons, Lit, took to the stage at Mohegan Sun Casino on November 14 for the 6th time in their career (fifth time in The Wolf Den), and had a packed house on their feet from the first note of “My Kind of Life” to the last note of their biggest hit “My Own Worst Enemy”. They wowed the crowd with their stage performance. On a smoky stage with often saturated red or blue lighting, Ajay could be seen frequently pointing out friends in the crowd and giving fist bumps. He even gave a birthday shout-out to a friend in the crowd. Ajay and bassist Kevin Baldes did their fair share of jumping around the stage, and I was lucky enough to capture Ajay flying high in a jump reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen. At one point during the set, Ajay almost took out Kevin while swinging the mic stand around, which led to Kevin comically rolling his eyes and shaking his head. Jeremy Popoff was rocking his signature spikey hairdo and braided beard while effortlessly nailing his guitar parts. The newest member of the band was Taylor Carroll, who has been with them since 2018.

Lit played an hour and fifteen-minute-long set, including their fan favorites, a few cover songs, and even some new material. After playing a cover of The Cars “Let’s Go”, they said they were testing the waters with some new material and had everyone light up their phones for “Anybody Have a Light”. Next up was the relatable beginning of “Miserable”. “You make me come…. You make me complete…. You make me completely miserable”. Another cover song they did was “American Girl” by Tom Petty, before ending the set with “My Own Worst Enemy,” to what seemed like the whole crowd singing along. Needless to say, if you weren’t at Mohegan Sun for this show, you missed out. You can catch them in December on the 12th in Detroit, Michigan, or on New Year’s Eve in Gary, Indiana.
