An essential date in the summer festival diary for indie-lovers and new music heads alike, Live At Leeds: In The Park continues to emerge as one of the best new festivals in the country – with the curated tastemakers at Live At Leeds pointing the way to the essential new names and trailblazing favourites that capture alternative music in 2024. Established as the perfect all-day festival experience for hands-in-the-air celebrations, Live At Leeds: In The Park 2024 gets even better with the final release of names today.

Joining an already stacked bill is even more festival-highlights-in-waiting. Crafting witty and observant tales about the lives of the wealthy but morally questionable, Baxter Dury blends his dry vocals and scandalous stories with subtle pop arrangements and a touch of new wave inspiration. From early albums like 2002’s “Len Parrot’s Memorial Lift” to later forays into disco and dance music, his unique drawl and catchy tunes remain consistent. With records like 2023’s “I Thought I Was Better Than You,” he cements his reputation as one of the sharpest and most innovative songwriters of his generation of his time. Catch him live at Live at Leeds: In The Park 2024 for a night of captivating eccentricity you won’t want to miss.

Bursting across the pop universe, Caity Baser heads to Live At Leeds: In The Park as one of the most talked about breakthrough names destined to be filling huge venues across the globe in no time. With a knack for catchy down-to-earth tales full of wit and unstoppable character, expect a larger than life celebration of latest mixtape ‘Still Learning’ and a must-see show capturing a superstar in waiting. Fresh from a fizzing sold-out headline tour at the end of 2023, Baby Queen touches down at Live At Leeds: In The Park for a confessional masterclass of modern pop celebration. After storming into the new music world with a string of EPs and a must-see live presence, her debut album ‘Quarter Life Crisis’, steeped in introspection and honesty, flew straight into the Top 5 of the UK Albums Chart – confirming a new pop icon in the process. Meanwhile also set to ignite the stage is Billy Nomates, a powerhouse of raw energy. Hailing from the Midlands, her unconventional journey to music, marked by setbacks and self-discovery, promises an electrifying performance, inviting audiences into a world of unfiltered emotion and unapologetic self-expression this summer.

The heart of Live At Leeds once more, the best in new music and unmissable breakthrough favourites continues to join the party at Temple Newsam this summer, with Overpass continuing their ascent across the UK for a summer that’s destined to blaze a trail for huge indie singalongs to come. One of the UK’s most innovative and original bands Courting bring their genre-blending hooks and unbridled humour to Live At Leeds: In The Park for a set like no other following the release of second album ‘New Last Name’, whilst Seb Lowe continues to cement himself as a bold new voice in modern guitar music with Live At Leeds: In The Park a chance to witness a live sensation first before stages continue to grow and grow. Joining them is Good Neighbours, the UK duo sparking a nostalgic flame this year with their debut single “Home” becoming a viral sensation and welcoming a bold new force already making a mark on the music world. Newcastle’s Andrew Cushin, with his debut album ‘Waiting for the Rain” dominating the Official UK Top 20 and Indie Chart for three consecutive weeks, promises a must-see set at LAL: ITP alongside Dylan John Thomas, whose ascent has seen him take on venues across the UK and beyond for a wordsmith of modern times in every sense of the word. With Melbourne’s rising stars, Radio Free Alice, taking to the Live At Leeds: In The Park stage destined to become music fans’ new favourite band and the irrepressible alt-pop brilliance of Beth McCarthy joining the bill, together it captures what Live At Leeds: In The Park is all about – a feel-good summer day out spread across a range of different stages with festival favourites, essential must-see live moments and thriving new talent alike coming together for only £65.

These new additions join a who’s who bill to make Live At Leeds: In The Park the perfect summer indie celebration. With festival headliners The Kooks leading the way with their soaring anthems, the likes of Declan McKenna, The Cribs, Sea Girls,  Future Islands, Circa Waves, White Lies, Melanie C, Corinne Bailey Ray, Mystery Jets, The Academic, Orla Gartland, Mysterines, Vistas, The Slow Readers Club, Sprints and more make up a festival experience perfect for fans looking to discover their next favourite band.

Speaking about the final names added to Live At Leeds: In The Park, Festival Promoter Joe Hubbard said:
“Wow. We can’t believe that we’re but a couple of months away from the return of Live At Leeds: In The Park, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back to Temple Newsam with our biggest and funnest lineup to date. Really capturing what Live At Leeds is all about whilst making the show accessible to as many people as possible has been really important for us, and this year’s party is already guaranteed to be a cracking one! The orders for suncream are already in, we’ll see you there!”

Live At Leeds: In The Park’s return on Saturday 25th May kickstarts festival season the right way. Set against the welcome backdrop of Temple Newsam, it’s a must-visit destination for those looking for their fix of unforgettable festival memories, soundtracked to the most sought-after acts the alternative and indie world has to offer. In 2023 Live At Leeds: In The Park saw Two Door Cinema Club, DMA’s, The Hives, The Lathums and Tom Walker amongst many more perform across 5 stages for the ultimate indie all dayer brimming with live music from all four corners of the globe.

Live At Leeds: In The Park sits as the perfect accompaniment to the Live At Leeds experience that’s become such a vital date in the diary for live music fans, tastemakers and more. Its revered city-centre showcase has over the years been the first place to see the early steps of global superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, The 1975, Lizzo, Royal Blood, Sam Fender, Sam Smith and many more – always one step ahead of the curve and pointing to the next big thing. The home of new music, Live At Leeds serves as more than just one day – but a trusted voice on the latest and greatest acts set to soundtrack the months and years ahead, whilst celebrating its unbelievable alumni who have graced its stages over the years.
