LOLA BROOKE sets the streets ablaze with the release of her new track “Bend It Ova” featuring A Boogie and Big Freedia via Team Eighty Productions/ Arista Records. The enthralling cut from Brooklyn-born rap star Lola Brooke interpolates breakout Cash Money Records hit “Back That Azz Up” by Juvenile, Mannie Fresh and Lil Wayne, which recently marked its 26th anniversary.“ Bend It Ova” takes on a new twist for the call-and-response cultural hit track with an upbeat, shock-value vibe that magnifies the flare and intensity of New Orleans bounce music while spotlighting the swag and dimensionality of the New York City rap scene today.  Get it HERE.

Along with today’s latest music offering from Lola, the rap sensation has also unveiled an April 5, 2024, release date for the deluxe edition of her debut project, Dennis Daughter, which was released last November.

“I’m ready to raise the temperature on Dennis Daughter. It’s Gator season, and I’m gearing up to release more music that makes my fans want to go outside and have a good time. It was very important for me to share my story first, but now the Brooklyn girl wants to go out and do the things she likes to do.” Lola shares in reference to the deluxe release of Dennis Daughter and the tone it’s slated to encapsulate. “On Bend It Ova, two worlds come together here and Boogie [A Boogie] and Big Freedia were the perfect fit for the energy I needed on this one. I know the energy while performing this song will go to the roof.”

“Bend It Ova ” follows last month’s release of “Becky” featuring hip hop collective 41, composed of group members Jenn Carter, Kyle Richh, and Ta Ta. The track received significant press praise since its initial release; XXL and UPROXX spotlighted the track as the ‘Best New Hip Hop’ release for the week as Billboard shared, “the fiery drill joint marks the union of some of the most exciting voices in the contemporary hip-hop scene. Lola’s characteristically menacing delivery is a smart complement to TaTa’s boisterous ad-libs and Kyle Ricch’s high-octane flow. Of course, the “Don’t Play With It” rapper also pairs well with 41’s Jenn Carter…” WONDERLAND stated, “New York’s new rap queen and Wonderland Autumn 23 cover star Lola Brooke is back with another blockbuster. Linking up with hip hop collective 41, Brooke offers up her A-game atop a drill-leaning instrumental, her individual cadence embodying the energy that the sonics develop.” as Ebony Magazine shared, “Lola Brooke continues to assert her dominance with each release, bringing her signature New York flair to her singles. Her latest track, “Becky,” is no exception, serving up fierce lyrics that demand attention. With her unapologetic style and raw storytelling, Lola Brooke reminds us once again not to underestimate her prowess in the rap game.” The Source, VIBE, Hot New Hip Hop, and more also praised the fiery drill-laced track’s overall prowess.

Prepping for the forthcoming iteration of Dennis Daughter, all signs show that the 2023 breakout star is ensuring her dominance is felt globally. Next week, Lola is set to perform at Rolling Stone’s ‘Future of Music’ show for SXSW, taking place at the ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin. For more information, visit HERE.
