NEW ALBUM LONG LOST ARRIVES MAY 21ST

FINAL EPISODE OF ALIVE FROM WHISPERING PINES AIRS APRIL 29th

Who is Tubbs Tarbell?

Deepening the mystery of their current chapter, Lord Huron unveil a new song entitled “Long Lost” today. It stands out as the title track of their anxiously awaited fourth full-length album, LONG LOST, out May 21st via Whispering Pines Studios Inc./Republic Records.Pre-order Long Lost HERE,

The new tune hinges on cinematic strings, dusty tambourine, and soft acoustic guitar before transmitting a dreamy vocal. It nods to Spaghetti Western soundtracks and fifties pop in equal measure, as though Roy Orbison and Ennio Morricone finally got around to collaborating. Meanwhile, the accompanying music video further opens the window onto the expanding world of the album.

Lord Huron’s recently released album track “Mine Forever” was received with critical acclaim. The music video featured blurred faces of performers from Whispering Pines Studio and added more clues to the mystery behind Long Lost.

Long Lost will also include previously-released single “Not Dead Yet.” The track has already hit Top 5 at AAA Radio (the band’s fastest rise at radio to date), racked up 1.5 million Spotify streams and 500K video views. Additionally, the guys hit the stage at Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! for a show-stopping television debut performance of “Not Dead Yet.”

The final episode of the band’s Alive From Whispering Pines streaming series will broadcast on April 29th, with more surprises to come. Fans can purchase tickets to each episode, a season pass to all four shows, and exclusive merch at http://www.lordhuron.com

During its first episode, viewers were introduced to Mr. Tubbs Tarbell, fell under the spell of commercials that may very well be lost tapes from the past, and were treated to some incredible performances by Lord Huron. The band played some old songs including “Meet Me In The Woods”  and provided a sneak peak at some new songs. The episode also featured a hotline where fans could call in and ask Mr. Tarbell questions and request songs from the band for Episode 2. Last night’s performance included some fan favorites and even an unreleased song called “Mine Forever.”

In 2018, Lord Huron earned widespread critical acclaim and their first Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 200 with their third album, Vide Noir. A cinematic collection of pensive, provocative, and powerful rock, the record garnered praise from The Guardian, Uncut, NME, The Line Of Best Fit, as well as NPR, Time, Los Angeles Times, Spin, Stereogum, Refinery29, UPROXX, and more, as singles such as “Wait by the River” and “When the Night is Over” generated tens of millions of streams and were performed to a sold out London Roundhouse.

What could be in store for the band next? Only time will tell…As Tubbs says: “As ever, friends, may you live until you die”.
