ANNOUNCES LONDON OSLO HEADLINE SHOW

Matt Champion has announced his solo headline show at London’s Oslo, on Feb 15th, 2025. Champion’s debut solo album Mika’s Laundry was released on March 22, 2024 via RCA Records. The album crystallizes a radical shift for Matt in his return to his solo music, experimenting with new ideas over the course of several years to mold a singular sound.
At the album’s core, Matt writes thoughtfully about the complexities of his relationships and asks the existential questions that come with growing up and discovering your place amongst your peers. Most recently, Matt released Slint’s Favorite, a series of four songs, shared as an extension of the Mika’s Laundry world.
Cutting his teeth as a rapper in the sprawling collective Brockhampton, he’s now matured into an artist of honesty and experience, with a glitchy, soulful sound, blurring the lines between rapping and singing while stacking and shaping his vocals into supernatural forms. Mika’s Laundry and Slint’s Favorite, paint a dustbowl vision of the future that illuminates his radical shift.
Matt most recently made his solo festival debut, performing at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles on November 17, 2024
