Mickey Lyxx Celebrates the Arrival of New Bass Player Shannon Wilk
The Long Island Based Shredder finds the missing mojo to ignite the trio!
On March 22nd 2022, Long Island Guitarist Mickey Lyxx (Best Known for His Debut Album “Freezing Speed” as well as being an artist for Charvel Guitars and Elixir Strings) announced that he has joined forces with the likes of Killer Bass Player Shannon Wilk. After taking on LI’s music scene by storm in the past year and a half, Mickey looks to add an extra piece to the puzzle to fuel the young guns to stardom.
In the past year Mickey Lyxx along with his Phenom Drummer Steven Macqueen have been showcasing around Long Island, not only gaining the love of locals, but also making an impact online. With Shannon Wilk joining the group, Mickey has bright expectations for the future. Mickey Lyxx said “I think this is the addition that will really help put us to the next level, the amount of contacts Shannon has made in the Industry shows her work ethic as a person, but not only is her motivation and drive great, so is her playing. It was a no brainer to team up with such an amazing talent”

Age 18, Lyxx has taken the Guitar World by storm with such impressive achievements as Endorsements by Charvel Guitars and Elixir Strings and collaborations with artists such as Mark DiCarlo (FuzzBubble) and Jacky Vincent (Falling In Reverse).
