REBOUND UK TOUR & FESTIVALS
MILLIE MANDERS from Millie Manders and The Shutup has been invited to perform at the VLR awards ceremony at London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on Thursday 6 April. The event will be headlined by a special reunion of the legendary Lords Of The New Church. The new incarnation of LOTNC features Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe, who will step into the shoes of departed vocalist Stiv Bators, and original members of The Damned (Brian James) and The Clash (Terry Chimes).
Among other artists appearing on the night are Specials legend Neville Staple, Cockney Rejects, Jim Jones, Bad Barbee, Girlschool and Vice Squad icon Beki Bondage who will also compere the evening.
The VLR awards follow a breakthrough 2022 for MILLIE MANDERS AND THE SHUTUP which enhanced their reputation as one of most exhilarating live acts in the country after support tours with Less Than Jake and Ferocious Dog; sold out headline UK tours in the spring and the autumn; countless festival appearances throughout the UK including Kendal Calling, Rebellion and North East Calling; and their first headline tour of Germany.
The band then play a headline UK tour in April and perform throughout the spring and summer at numerous prestigious festivals, including Manchester Punk Festival, Dogfest, Bearded Theory, Slam Dunk, North West Calling and Rebellion.
