INHALER

SHARE NEW SINGLE ‘A QUESTION OF YOU’

THIRD SONG UNVEILED FROM FORTHCOMING NEW ALBUM OPEN WIDE

SET FOR RELEASE FEBRUARY 7TH 2025

Inhaler have shared another taste of their forthcoming new album with the release of stomping new single ‘A Question Of You’. It is the third track to be unveiled from the Dublin quartet’s brilliant third album Open Wide which is released February 7th via Polydor Records. It follows recent singles ‘Your House’ and ‘Open Wide’ and further showcases a band thrillingly coming into their own and taking their sound in audacious new directions.

Speaking about ‘A Question Of You’, frontman Elijah Hewson says, “This is love song territory for me, about how in order to be honest with someone else you’ve got to be honest with yourself, like, ‘I’ve gotta sort my own shit out so I can be around other people’. It’s also a soulmates thing. The choir really changed everything on this one.”

Recorded at RAK Studios in London and produced by Grammy and Brit Award-winning Kid Harpoon, Inhaler’s new album Open Wide reinforces their status as the ultimate modern guitar band, a group for whom jubilant pop melodies, intricate grooves and rock’n’roll dynamism are kindred spirits rather than strangers. Featuring 13 songs, it hones the sweeping, euphoric singalongs of their first two albums It Won’t Always Be Like This and Cuts & Bruises, into something more fully-formed, a record you can lose yourself in and one where every track feels like it could be a big single. Sonically, it’s an album where the band’s love of T.Rex, early MGMT, Prince, Depeche Mode and more nestles alongside the indie and garage-rock influences of their teens, and is a majestic celebration of who Inhaler are and everything they’ve done to get to this point. Its release next month coincides with band’s biggest ever tour of UK and Ireland, which includes two headline shows at the iconic rock venue Brixton Academy, and ahead of their 20,000-capacity Dublin show in May.

CIAN DUCROT

STARTS 2025 WITH A BANG WITH HIS NEW SINGLE & VIDEO ‘WHO’S MAKING YOU FEEL IT’

ANNOUNCED TO SUPPORT TEDDY SWIMS ON EUROPEAN/UK TOUR THIS FEBRUARY/MARCH

The first chapter of Cian Ducrot’s career took the then unknown newcomer to phenomenal success, with his debut album ‘Victory’ shooting to #1 in the UK and Ireland as he amassed over one billion streams globally and played ever-bigger shows across the globe. Now an even more impactful era gets underway in 2025, starting with today’s release of his new single ‘Who’s Making You Feel It’. It follows his recent first Grammy nomination as the co-writer of SZA’s smash hit ‘Saturn’.

‘Who’s Making You Feel It’ feels like an invigorating evolution in Cian’s style from his debut album. The bright, spacious piano melody that opens the song brings to mind the timelessness of early Elton John, but with a contemporary, radio-friendly twist when the flighty, punchy chorus soars to the stratosphere. Fans have come to love Cian for his emotionally-charged lyricism, but there’s a subtle evolution on that front too: where he would previously strike direct at the heart of the sentiment, now there’s a playfulness to his words which brings a fresh sense of character to his songwriting.

The uplifting charm of the song is complemented by a similar aesthetic in what is Cian’s most ambitious visual to date. It sees Cian embracing playful choreography and movement in a way that brings a touch of classic Hollywood glamour into his world. Filmed in Hungary, the video was directed by Jasmine De Silva, and was produced by Rhory Danniells for Intergalactic Studios.
There will be much more to come on all fronts from Cian Ducrot as 2025 marches on – expect the statement that he made with ‘Victory’ to be amplified this time around.

BRADLEY SIMPSON

SHARES THE NEW SINGLE ‘CARPET BURN’

FROM HIS DEBUT SOLO ALBUM THE PANIC YEARS, OUT FEBRUARY 28TH

Having spent the past year establishing himself as one of the UK’s most exciting new global artists, Bradley Simpson powers into an epic 2025 by sharing his new single ‘Carpet Burn’. The track previews the February 28th release of his eagerly anticipated debut solo album ‘The Panic Years’. ‘Carpet Burn’ perfectly encapsulates Bradley’s timeless, confessional singer-songwriter style which finds harmony between contemporary sounds and a warm 70s-tinged aesthetic. While the lyrics capture the essence of universal heartfelt emotions as he exposes his vulnerability by revealing his own authentic experiences in the song.

Bradley says, “‘Carpet Burn’ was the first song I wrote when I got to New York to write the album and it always felt really special. It’s a song about wanting more time with someone special to you, and it came around really quickly. I wrote it in my hotel room in about half an hour and took it into the studio the next day. The main bulk of the finished song was done on that first day. I’ve been playing it at shows for the past few months and hearing the fans singing the words back without the song even being released has blown my mind so I’m excited for them to have the song!”

Written on his 1961 Gibson Hummingbird guitar, ‘Carpet Burn’ was produced by Bradley’s musical collaborator and two-time Grammy nominee BOOTS (Beyoncé, Run the Jewels). Other key collaborators on the upcoming ‘The Panic Years’ album include Andrew Wells (Phoebe Bridgers), Anthony Rossomando (Liam Gallagher) and Ina Wroldsen (Calvin Harris). As with the previous singles ‘Cry At The Moon’, ‘Picasso’, ‘Daisies’ and ‘Always Like This’, the album ‘The Panic Years’ achieves a rare blend of qualities. Taking in touches of indie-rock, Americana, ‘80s synth and psychedelia, the songs also sparkle with pop addictiveness. Lyrically, the songs go far deeper into Bradley’s personal experiences: life, love, lust and learning – a diaristic collection of rite-of-passage moments that fans will instantly connect to.

THE HORRORS

RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘MORE THAN LIFE’

NEW ALBUM NIGHT LIFE OUT MARCH 21ST

The Horrors release their anthemic new single ‘More Than Life’, the fourth track to be taken from their forthcoming sixth studio album Night Life, out March 21st via Fiction Records. The single follows a sold-out run of UK dates to close out 2024, including a blistering show at London’s ICA.

“’More Than Life’ has a different type of intensity to our recent singles, it’s more driving and direct. It was written in the middle of Canary Wharf, which looks more like Blade Runner everyday. It’s such a strange place to do anything creative as the surroundings feel particularly stark.” explains the band. “We still needed a couple more songs for the album before going to LA to record at Yves’ studio, and we were in that insular part of the process where it feels like the outside world doesn’t exist. The song is basically about the question of what matters to you and by that point we were definitely clear on where we were heading.

As The Horrors approach their 20th anniversary as a band, Night Life sees them shapeshift into a new form, with a new sonic outlook and a new line up centred around the core duo of vocalist Faris Badwan and bassist Rhys Webb, now joined by Amelia Kidd on keys and Telegram’s Jordan Cook on drums, making the new album the band’s first to not feature all 5 original members. While demos began modestly in Webb’s basement flat in North London with the pair thriving on the immediacy of, as Faris describes, “shortening the distance between having an idea and expressing it”, the record truly took shape in LA under the guidance of producer Yves Rothman (Yves Tumor, Blondshell) before finishing touches were applied back in London along with guitarist Josh Hayward, with Kidd bouncing parts and production ideas remotely from Glasgow.
