Seven bands from six countries play Will’s Pub for Foreign Dissent 11 on October 19, 2026
Orlando’s annual international punk festival returns for its 11th year, with every dollar at the door going to the traveling bands
ORLANDO, Fla. (October 5, 2026): Foreign Dissent, the longest running festival in the US dedicated exclusively to international punk, returns to Will’s Pub on Monday, October 19, with seven bands traveling from Austria, Costa Rica, England, Greece, Japan and Wales.
Every year, punk bands from around the world fly into Florida for THE FEST in Gainesville. Since 2014, Foreign Dissent has given Orlando its own night with them first, on the Monday before FEST.
The show is zero-profit. All door money goes to the bands, and so does the support from this year’s exclusive sponsor, Orlando record shop Park Ave CDs.
FD11 adds two countries the festival has never featured, Greece and Wales. Through last year, Foreign Dissent has hosted 69 bands from 21 countries.
The FD11 lineup:
Brightr (Wales): Acoustic emo with a punk soul, and the first performer from Wales at FD
The Overjoyed (Greece): Athens power-pop punk, and the first band from Greece at FD
Arid Wave (England): Southampton post-hardcore meets 90s grunge, big riffs with a venomous edge
Feeble Strength (England): London indie rock with a big heart. Think The Thermals, Superchunk.
HYPERDOG (Austria): Fast, catchy hardcore punk meets darkwave
Age of Kid (Japan): High-octane ska-punk from Tokyo, and FD’s first ska band
La Versión Extendida de las Cosas (Costa Rica): San José alt-punk en español, returning after FD8
