Three Forks Road made a comeback with a new lineup at The Alley – Sanford, FL on Sunday, October 4, 2026. It was a fun night as Jim Gentry of the 501 band and Jeff Blando of Slaughter/Vince Neil were in the audience and came on stage to play a few tunes. It was a great night for Jason JMR Richardson’s debut. The Alley is always a great place for the blues, and proprietor Christopher Johnson and the club manager, Deanna Shearer, are always the perfect hosts.
It was a laid-back, cloudy Sunday with a rainy forecast in the early evening. The show started at 5:00 PM, but the rain was an hour away. The crowd filled the club, and they were ready to let loose. The dance floor was occupied the entire show as many got their groove on. During the second set, lead guitarist Paul Drennan stepped off stage and invited the guitarist from the 501 Band, Jim Gentry, to fill in as a surprise guest. That wasn’t enough; after Gentry left the stage, Drennan asked the crowd if they would like to hear Blando, of Slaughter and The Vince Neil Band, to come on stage to perform, as he was just chillin in the audience after a long-needed break from touring nonstop with Slaughter. Drennan and Blando have played together for almost 30 years in the Orlando music scene, so Blando is a vocal favorite. Jeff took over and played some rocking blues, upping the tempo for the brief three songs he performed.
By the time the show ended, the rain had almost stopped, and everyone left with a fulfilled Sunday Funday experience.
