The Bridgewater Hall was a pulsating hive of anticipation as fans eagerly awaited the arrival of the mesmerizing Paloma Faith for her “The Glorification of Sadness” Tour, celebrating the launch of her latest album of the same name. As she gracefully took the stage, adorned in a golden rubber skirt and matching coat, exuding Marilyn Monroe/Debbie Harry rock chic vibes with her new blond hair, the audience couldn’t help but be awestruck by her empowered presence.
With a beaming smile, Paloma Faith embarked on a journey through her new record, delivering each song in her unmistakable style. A true force of nature, she electrified the audience with her powerhouse vocals and captivating stage presence.
Paloma effortlessly transitioned between songs, each one infused with raw emotion and honesty from the heartbreak ballads to the upbeat anthems, she held the audience in the palm of her hand throughout the evening.
Dividing the performance into two acts, Paloma seamlessly switched personas, for the 2nd half greatest hits set, donning a sparkly blue outfit with a black wig.
The 2nd setlist was expertly curated, featuring beloved hits like “Stone Cold Sober” and “Picking Up The Pieces.” The night reached its crescendo with “Only Love Can Hurt Like This,” punctuated by Paloma’s signature high notes, leaving the audience in awe.
