It was such a shock when we heard the terrible news today. James was a bona fide nice man, funny and one of a kind. He always made All Music Magazine contributors feel welcome at any gig and was one of the only a few people to ever ask if there was anything else he could do for us or anything else we needed.
I met him myself on a few occasions and spoke to him quite often via email, he was one of a kind and really was a genuinely nice man
So thank you James for all your help, and the one or two hugs after shooting one of your shows. rest in peace and you will be missed
