BIG IMAGE (Previously working under the name Ivory Wave) are George, vocals; Luke, bass; Connor, guitar; and Seb, drums and they released their debut EP ‘Human Touch’ on April 27th, featuring previous singles Parallel Love Affair and the Radio X play listed ‘Crazier’ as well as another new track – ‘Sleeping Alone’ this is the band’s first release under the new name.

Having had quite a successful 2021, all things considered, which included playing the This Feeling stage at the Isle of Wight Festival and an intimate hometown show at Birmingham Sunflower Lounge.

So sticking on the headphones and pressing play the EP kicks off with “Parallel Love” and I instantly get an Andy Weatherall circa Primal Scream Screadelica vibe,

This Ep is big, it is bouncy, its Madchester baggy taking all the best bit of The Happy Mondays, The Charlatans and The Stone Roses and sticking it in a baggy blender, producing a sound that is smiley faces Saturday night anthems and Indie Bangers

“Human Touch Forever”  is up, it makes you smile, it makes you feel good, and I challenge you to keep your feet sill, so put on your bucket hat and retro Hacienda t-shirt, slap on the EP, turn it up loud and have yourself fifteen minutes of infectious baggy-esque dance music.
