Introducing Candar.
Rising London Duo Release New Single ‘Flower In A Gun’
Play London’s Old Blue Last May 22nd
Introducing Candar. one of the most exciting new acts in the capital. Following the release of ‘Glitz And Glamour’ last month, the rising duo return with new single ‘Flower In A Gun’.
Produced by Jesse Wood and Sean Genockey and cut live in Rak Studio 2, ‘Flower In A Gun’ is heavy dose of raw, guitar driven rock with guillotine-smooth vocals. Wedged between primal stomps from the guitar and drums, ‘Flower In A Gun’ showcases two ends of the Candar. spectrum. Both delicate and abrasive, the track perfectly sums up the band’s sound.
“‘Flower in a Gun’ is a message to the nice guy: cut the sweet shit. It captures a relationship which is carved by a craving for intensity, raw emotion, and a little bit of chaos,” the duo said of the track. Listen to the track HERE.
Having played to a packed out crowd at The Lexington in London earlier this year, the duo will play a special free release show at London’s The Old Blue Last on May 22nd. Tickets are available HERE.
Formed in London when the band left North Devon, Candar. have been making waves across the sweaty venues of the underground London scene. With two slots at Glastonbury and support from the likes of John Kennedy and Kerrang! already under their belt, the band are certainly one for the future.
