RUBY WATERS
FEELS THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLDPOUR OVER HER ON NEW SINGLE
“BUCKET”
The artistic force that is Canadian singer-songwriter Ruby Water returns with her newest single ‘Bucket’, which is the next track to come from her highly anticipated upcoming project. ‘Bucket’ showcases this JUNO-nominated artist’s powerful, raspy vocals and knack for articulating life’s most poignant and raw emotions which are felt by everyone at some point in life.
Speaking on the inspiration behind ‘Bucket’, Ruby shares that it “explores the emotions of getting older and coming to terms with things in life you have no control over.”
Full of nostalgia and vulnerability, Waters delivers a song that in all its melancholy communicates the struggles of growing up and feeling a lack of direction and control over the world. The track’s introspective quality gives the listener a chance to reflect and feel less alone, which is something Ruby’s music never fails to do, as her writing always comes from a place central to the human experience.
Alongside today’s release, Ruby has announced her headline Europe tour this summer which commences in Birmingham this June, shortly followed by her London show at Omeara.
