South London-duo Sandhouse – Anna and Caspar – are back with their first release of the year. New single ‘Circus’ is out today and follows spellbinding live shows at Bermondsey Social Club and The Shacklewell Arms

‘Circus’ is a darkly hypnotic track that showcases the rich atmospherics Sandhouse are becoming known for. With Anna’s captivating and emotionally charged vocals the track draws in the listener. The track sets the scene for Sandhouse as they are poised to further refine their distinctive blend of darkness and beauty, solidifying their place as an emerging force in the alternative music scene

The duo talk about the track –

“‘Circus’ is about being online; inhabiting a constant state of watching and being watched, and the twisted effect this has on the ego and view of others.”

Sandhouse next play at The Lexington on 27th February, their latest London headliner show for Abbie McCarthy’s Good Karma Club.

Self-released by Sandhouse, their first two tracks ‘Sick Of Your Face’ and ‘Bite Me Back’ picked up strong support on Spotify with Best New Indie and All New Rock playlist inclusions, whilst press support came from Under The Radar, The Line Of Best Fit, Atwood, Earmilk and Still Listening.

Sandhouse are busy in the studio putting together their debut EP which is expected in the coming months.
