A well established fixture since 2015, Shiiine On Weekender, the ultimate indie and dance festival taking place at Butlin’s Minehead Arena 17th to 19th November 2023, have announced the full line up for their now legendary shindig showcasing the best artists who soundtracked the late Eighties, Nineties and beyond.
With headliners Inspiral Carpets, The Enemy and The Wonder Stuff taking charge of the main stage each night, an extensive bill of well over eighty artists has been amassed to entertain the loyally enthusiastic Shiiine On regulars.
Over eighty percent of tickets have already been sold for November’s jamboree and the line up continues Shiiine On’s strong traditions of booking some of the best artists and acts who came to define all strands of indie and dance culture including straight and modern indie, Madchester, Britpop. Noughties era indie, shoegaze, house music and more.
The eclectic line up across the three days and five stages includes Black Grape, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, The View, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Jim Bob (Carter USM), The Farm, Sleeper, The Orb, Stereo MC’s, A Certain Ratio, Terrorvision, Jesus Jones. Danny Goffey, The Rifles, Mark Chadwick (Levellers), The Clone Roses, Rialto, The Supernaturals, The Primitives, The Boo Radleys, John Power (Cast / The La’s), Martin McAloon (of Prefab Sprout), Ian Prowse & Amsterdam, K Klass, Mr C, Miki Berenyi Trio, Cud and more.
BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins join Jagz Kooner playing special DJ sets, unique interview sessions with Steve Lamacq, The Adj and Miki Berenyi with tribute acts Oaces, Just Radiohead and Blurd are also all on the bill.
