RACHEL CHINOURIRI / MYCHELLE / TERRA KINFRIDAY 4TH NOVEMBER AT LONDON OMEARA

Radio 1 DJ Sian Eleri is pleased to present the second edition of ‘TONNA’, an event series that stands out from the crowd. The night focuses on warm, intimate performances from much-loved artists. Taking place in the arches of OMEARARachel Chinouriri, Mychelle and Terra Kin will all perform on Friday 4th November. Tickets go on sale Friday 7th October at 10am via https://sjm.lnk.to/TONNA.

‘Tonna’ (translating to the colloquial form of waves in Welsh) is a unique evening of music, Q and A, discovery and community, promoting sustainability and donating a £1 sub to War Child from every ticket sold.

Performing on the night is the Ivor Novello-nominated Rachel Chinouriri. Whether it’s her down-to-earth TikTok’s, her musical honesty or the charge she and her peers are leading for a new age of unguarded indie, Rachel Chinouriri stands on the cusp of true self-recognition.

Also playing is fast-rising Hackney singer-songwriter Mychelle, whose four-track EP, Closure, was celebrated across the BBC by DJ Target, Adele Roberts and Jamz Supernova.

Terra Kin will open the night. Their love for jazz, ambient and folk music paired with a soft, soulful voice collides into something unique.
