Critically acclaimed Singer-songwriter Nao has announced a series of headline shows in March 2025 including Birmingham’s O2 Institute on Thursday 06 March and Manchester’s New Century Hall on Friday 07 March. This announcement follows the news of Nao’s fourth album, ‘Jupiter,’ set for release February 21st. Tickets for Nao’s headline shows will be available from Friday 06 December at 3pm via www.gigsandtours.com or www.thisisnao.com/tour.
Nao’s career quickly gained momentum, as she supported herself as backing singer for artists like Kwabs and Jarvis Cocker before her breakthrough performance at Corsica Studios, which led to the release of her debut project, ‘So Good’ (2014). Soon after, she landed a MOBO nomination for Best Newcomer and took to the stage performing to packed-out crowds at Glastonbury. In 2016, she released her debut album ‘For All We Know’, which earned her a Brit Award nomination for Best British Female Solo Artist. Her follow-up, ‘Saturn’ (2018), was widely praised for its bold, experimental sound, it was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and earned her another Brit nomination.
In 2021, Nao released her third album, ‘And Then Life Was Beautiful’, a deeply introspective collection shaped by the challenges and transformations of the world during the pandemic. The album was nominated for a MOBO Award for Best R&B/Soul and led to collaborations with Stormzy and Mura Masa and performances at Coachella.
The forthcoming fourth album has been teased by Nao’s latest single release ‘Elevate’. This new track is the second offering from Nao’s highly anticipated concept album, an energising blend of sound that channels nostalgia with a modern twist. With shimmering guitar riffs and an infectious rhythm, ‘Elevate’ captivates with its upbeat and mesmerising quality.
