NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS – THURSDAY 18 JULY
THE LATHUMS – FRIDAY 19 JULY

Across 5 nights in 2024, Richard Ashcroft, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, James Arthur and The Lathums will perform at 11,500 capacity Robin Park, Wigan. Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 8th December.
Opening the run on Wednesday 17th July, James Arthur is one of the world’s biggest streaming artists, with over 38 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. James has scored 4 top 10 albums, with 2016’s Back From The Edge hitting the Number 1 spot and over his career has collaborated with the likes of Anne-Marie, Sigala, Rudimental, Marshmello & many more.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds headline Robin Park on Thursday 18th July. This announcement follows a successful 2023 which has already seen the release of the highly anticipated, critically-acclaimed fourth studio album, ‘Council Skies’, and a sold-out homecoming gig at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park on August Bank Holiday weekend. This year’s performances were rapturously received, described as “emotional and thrilling” by the BBC, “typically legendary” by the Daily Mirror, and “sounding bigger and bolder than ever” by CLASH.
The Lathums will play their biggest headline show to date on Friday 19th July, alongside special guests Jake Bugg and Brooke Combe. In an emotional, celebratory homecoming, The Lathums will loudly and proudly play the songs of hope and heartbreak that have filled two chart-topping albums in the town they grew up in.
Richard Ashcroft closes the series, performing in Wigan for the first time in over 25 years, in what will be a huge homecoming. “After 25 years, I’m back playing in my hometown,” Richard says. “Looking forward to an amazing night in Wigan.” Due to demand, a second night has been added on Sunday 21st July.
Tickets go on sale Friday 8th December at 9am from www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Wigan has a long, illustrious music history. From George Formby’s emergence in the 1930s to the infamous Northern Soul scene that emerged at Wigan Casino between 1973 and 1981, before making its own contribution to the ‘90s Britpop phenomena with The Verve, it has consistently contributed to the UK’s world-renowned music scene. In 2024, the next chapter will be written with a huge outdoor concert series, featuring some of the UK’s most beloved and acclaimed live acts.
Robin Park is Wigan Warriors’ new multi-million pound facility, built in association with Wigan council. Located next to The DW Stadium, Robin Park is just a 20 minute walk from Wigan town centre, and Wigan North Western train station.
