SOFT PLAY light-up Village Underground with an electrifying performance for BRITs Week 25, delivered by
DHL for War Child
BRITs Week 25, delivered by DHL for War Child, continued last with an electric performance from UK punk band SOFT PLAY.
The Mercury-prize-nominated rockers were on top form, tearing through their set at the sold-out Village Underground in London. Continuing the stellar run of shows taking place for BRITs Week 2025, SOFT PLAY gave their signature infectious energy to an uproarious crowd of London rockers. Support on the night came from shortstraw.
BRITs Week 25, delivered by DHL for War Child gives fans the unforgettable opportunity to see intimate, one-off performances from some of the biggest and most exciting names in music at some of the UK’s best venues.
All proceeds from the shows go towards War Child’s phenomenal work to help provide protection, education, mental health support, and more while standing up for the rights of children whose lives have been devastatingly affected by war. The total amount raised for War Child by BRITs Week, since its inception in 2009, is over £7,430,000.
BRITs Week is produced by AEG Presents, BPI, DHL, and War Child, the charity for children affected by conflict. Proceeds from the shows will help to support War Child’s work that aims to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and stays to support them through their recovery – keeping them safe, helping them learn and cope with their experiences, and equipping them with skills for a brighter future. Through BRITs Week, some of the biggest names in music will play a series of very special, intimate shows to help save lives around the world.
BRITs Week 25 for War Child will take place around The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard on Saturday 1st March, with artists playing in venues across London.
The series continues tonight with performances from both, triple BRIT award winner, Rag’n’Bone Man, who’s bringing his raw, soulful vocals to the seafront, De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill. Also performing, multi-platinum BRIT Award winner, James Bay providing his soulful and bluesy voice at the 350-capacity 100 Club.
