Back for its 17th year and already gearing up for the biggest party of the summer, Standon Calling 2023 reveals a packed programme today for its legendary electronic stages – including late night headliners Katy B, Faithless (DJ), LF System and Groove Armada (DJ). Hidden in the heart of the English countryside less than an hour from London, Standon Calling is this summer’s ultimate family camping festival.Having already revealed one of the UK’s most diverse and vibrant festival posters of the year, featuring the 2023 main stage headliners Years & Years, Self Esteem, Bloc Party and The Human League, today’s announcement is bursting with even more energy. Set to keep the party alive long into the night, the Cowshed stage takeovers are also unveiled today,  with the sounds of Hospitality and 24hr Garage Girls getting the Hertfordshire countryside jumping this July.Standon Calling is well revered for curating standout genre-spanning musical bills, and also for cultivating one of the UK’s most inclusive family-friendly weekend festival experiences. Bringing everyone together to enjoy a wide array of entertainment for all ages, the festival’s dedication to throwing the best day time raves, and keeping the vibes rolling long into the night, is second to none.Joining the previously announced Katy B between 20th-23rd July at Standon Lordship, Sister Bliss will take Standon faithfuls on a sonic journey with a headline Faithless DJ Set at the atmospheric woodland stage, Electric Willows. From a group that’s equally experimental when it comes to mixing genres, expect a soul enriching set from the influential London outfit.

Chart-topping Scottish production duo LF System will make for a massive moment on Electric Willows, as storming newcomers drop one of 2022’s biggest hits ‘Afraid To Feel’. Taking a fresh approach to an addictive 70’s disco vibe, this is set to be a real crowd pleaser. Also headlining one of the nights on Electric Willows will be Groove Armada DJs. Having spent two decades at the top as one of the all time biggest-selling dance acts, they are loved the world over and serve as the perfect Standon Calling soundtrack and the sun goes down.

Over at Standon’s riotous raving epicentre, the Cowshed, Standon welcomes two huge takeovers today. The trusted feel-good drum and bass club curators Hospitality will be providing showstopping DJs including the biggest DnB name ever seen at Standon before as High Contrast make their festival debut, alongside Flava D, Anaïs, Winslow, Solah & Emma B and host MC Texas. Meanwhile the 24hr Garage Girls – a power collective making their name by shutting down shows all around the UK right now – will be back curating their own mini festival of garage and bassline flavas, with Matt Jam Lamont, Zed Bias and Oppidan more to be announced.

Elsewhere, today’s line up additions boast the likes of dub-reggae artist Dennis Bovell MBE, the Hacienda to Homoelectric house DJ, DJ Paulette, plus Brighton producer Jaydee and more – all slotting in between the already announced Erol Alkan, Girls Don’t Sync, Girls of The Internet and Jaguar. The first names over on the Groove Garden can also be revealed today with Art Of Tones, Kid Fiesta, Melvo Baptiste and PBR Streetgang to be discovered deep in the woods.

Setting up for another fabulous four-day weekend of fun, Standon Calling is now a permanent fixture in the calendar for thousands of festival-loving families across the UK. With its world of immersive and magical moments popping up all over the weekend, it’s no wonder Standon fans keep coming back in growing numbers, with new generations welcomed into the festival family each year. From the famous Dog Show to Sunday’s themed Costume Parade, everyone has their own favourites. Whether it’s starting the day with some Wild Well-being, for those looking to limber up for the dance with a yoga class, and submerge in the swimming pool and riverside hot tubs, or taking in some quality Comedy and Talks over on The Lawn, or just diving into some gamescrafts and creative workshops fit for all ages, you can always rely on an impressive array of mouth watering street food and drinks to keep everyone going. Found less than an hour away from London, it’s the closest camping festival from the capital and offers the ultimate exploration of music and arts for all ages, hidden in the heart of the English countryside.

Standon is also one of the few big players in the UK festival scene committed to true diversity in genre, gender and ethnicity. In 2022 the Keychange pledge was successfully met for a 50:50 male/female & non-binary split across the programming, as the sun-baked show was heralded by many as the UK’s friendliest festival, scooping nominations for multiple heavyweight awards.

With more still to be announced, 2023’s line-up so far shows the festival’s ongoing commitment to delivering the most interesting and inspiring programme around, and is set to raise the bar once again!  Already the biggest and boldest headline bill to date, the big names are backed up with a wealth of pop stars like Anastacia, KT Tunstall and Melanie C, and packed with the most exciting new names including SquidDylan, Confidence Man, Bob Vylan, Lynks, Sprints and Flowerovlove, alongside a healthy dose of good-time party starters courtesy of The Cuban Brothers, Club De Fromage, Queer House Party and more.
