“Well thought out musicianship…well on their way to making something special” – BBC Radio Manchester
Stepping out of Greater Manchester’s Wigan, Stanleys are back with their second single from the Look Back EP. Having already sold over 400 physical copies of the extended play, and with support from Amazing Radio and local press, What’s Been and Gone extends the theme of letting things go in life and exploring who you are. Produced by Gareth Nuttall (The Lottery Winners, A.V. Club), The Stanleys continue to pull similarities to The Lathums and The LA’s, while the second single undoubtedly follows in catching pop choruses among Britpop structures.
With over 200,000 streams across three singles on Spotify, the quartet are quickly becoming a top pick for those discovering their past releases, with What’s Been and Gone expected to continue to cement the idea they are Wigan’s next big export.
Look Back EP will be released on September 17th with a full UK tour in December 2021. As well as choice slots at this year’s Liverpool Sound City and Kendal Calling, Stanleys will also be appearing as supports for The Lathums and The Lottery Winners before heading out on their debut headline tour this December.
Stanleys will play:
