Lead singer Jay Davies, guitarist Michael Kountis, drummer Richard Smith, rhythm guitarist Matty Brougham and bassist Ryan Lewis are The Hummingbirds formed in 2011 as childhood friends messing around with guitars and then they slowly created their own sound. Liverpool born and bred, the city has a musical heritage up there with some of the best in the world. From the sixties up to modern day music, Liverpool  never fails to produce some of the finest artists you will come across. From The Beatles to The Coral, The Lightening Seeds to The Zutons, they’ve all had an impact on the band from an early age.  The bands harmonies are one of the most important parts of their performance live and in studio recordings, hugely influenced by bands such as The Beatles, The Hollies, The Everly brothers.
