ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL DATE TO 2024 UK & EU TOUR

The Kills have announced an exciting addition to the previously announced dates for their forthcoming UK & EU tour in 2024. The duo, formed of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, have set off on their Summer dates, which kicked off in London before journeying through Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw, and culminating with a newly announced performance at the Manchester Albert Hall on August 21^st. The rock ‘n roll titans have also recently joined the lineup of significant festivals across Europe including Rock en Seine in France and Pukkelpop, Belgium.

The announcement follows the release of The Kills’ phenomenal new album God Games which was released in October to widespread praise and critical acclaim. A few days after its release, a handful of fans were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of what to expect from The Kills’ forthcoming live set at their first live show in over a year, at an incredible underplay show at London’s PRYZM. The intimate show was reviewed by The Telegraph who said “The Kills absolutely killed it”.

God Games centres the primal call-and-response between Mosshart’s full body vocal catharsis and Jamie Hince’s swaggering, guillotine-smooth guitar transmissions. Stretching the boundaries of the pair’s signature sound, they chose to write from new perspectives. The results find the duo composing primarily on piano for the first time, incorporating innovative electronic and brass textures, crystal clear production and deeply human lyrics, as well as a collaboration with the Compton Kidz Club Choir on “LA Hex” and “My Girls My Girls.” Written beginning in 2019, the duo decamped to The Church Studios to record the album with Academy® and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Paul Epworth [Adele, Paul McCartney], who was their very first soundman in 2002.
