RETURN WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘WORRY’

FIRST TASTE OF NEW ALBUM OUT LATER THIS YEAR WITH MORE DETAILS TO BE REVEALED

SUPPORTING FRANK TURNER ON UK TOUR BEGINNING THIS MONTH

The Lottery Winners have announced the release of their brand new single ‘Worry’, released ahead of their UK tour supporting Frank Turner at the end of January.

The infectious indie-pop track is the first taste of a new album due out later this year, with further details to be confirmed.

On ‘Worry’, frontman Thom Rylance says:

“Worry is a stomper for the chronic overthinkers. For those who lie in bed at night staring at the ceiling replaying conversations that don’t actually matter that happened four years ago. I really like it, and really like that we’re offering something different from the typically optimistic Lottery Winners you may be used to.”

The video for the track puts the viewer in the position of said ceiling, as we watch Thom toss and turn through his worries before succumbing to beneath the sheets

On the video, Thom says:

“I love the video. We basically just glued a fucking bed to the wall. And a table, and some chips. That was our only idea. Let’s glue loads of stuff on the wall and see what happens. Luckily, we got a pretty good music video and brand endorsement with No More Nails. I also glued my only lighter to the wall, which was inconvenient.”

This upcoming album is the band’s third, following their self-titled debut and its follow-up ‘Something To Leave The House For’.

2022 saw them take their live reputation Stateside for a US tour with sold-out shows, as well as main stage festival appearances back home, and sell out The Albert Hall in Manchester for a homecoming show in just a few hours.

The band also performed main stage slots including at Lytham Festival, Tramlines and Kendal Calling, as well as support slots for the likes of Paul Weller and Richard Ashcroft.

Now, they kick off 2023 as they mean to go on, with an early shout for one of the catchiest songs you’ll hear all year, an album that will throw up a few surprises, and further festival and tour dates to be announced.
