Acclaimed live band The Saw Doctors have today confirmed they will be joined by very special guests Billy Bragg and The Undertones at their Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on Saturday 6th July 2024.
Billy Bragg the much-loved songwriter, best-selling author/musicologist, principled activist and alternative national treasure is s currently in the midst of celebrating 40 years in music. Alongside a major UK tour Billy Bragg recently released a career spanning THE ROARING FORTY – a 14-disc deluxe box set celebrating his remarkable and enduring musical legacy.
Also joining The Saw Doctors are the legendary punk-pop band The Undertones. Having just completed a UK tour celebrating 45th anniversary of iconic hit single “Teenage Kicks” The Undertones are ready to present a glorious set of tracks taken from some of the best punk albums of all time.
The Saw Doctors have so far had a massively busy year from sold out US tour dates, festival appearances including headlining the acoustic stage at Glastonbury and a series of sold-out UK live dates including two sold out gigs at Glasgow Barrowland on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th December.
Loved and revered by their loyal fans over the past thirty years, The Saw Doctors continue with resilience and an effervescent energy and look forward to playing live again in Manchester next summer along with their very special guests Billy Bragg and The Undertones.
