THE SELECTER is led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson with original drummer Charley ‘Aitch’ Bembridge. Pauline is one of very few women in the 2-Tone scene – often referred to as the Queen of Ska. She was awarded an OBE in the in the 2022 New Year Honours.

2-Tone was a crucial multi-racial, multi-cultural explosion borne out of Coventry and the Midlands that remade British pop from 1979 onwards. The main bands who pioneered the movement were The Selecter, The Beat, The Specials and Madness. The anarchic passion that fuelled Selecter gigs during the original 2-Tone era is still there, except the pair are more driven than ever.  Since the return of live music in 2021, the band have been playing festivals and shows in the UK and abroad. They also recently performed one of their most popular hits On My Radio live at the 2022 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony in Birmingham which was broadcast worldwide. Their confidence is sky-high and they’re also writing the best songs of their career, which they’ll be  performing at The Great Estate along with the enduring popular hits  Three Minute Hero Missing Words, Too Much Pressure and the massive On My Radio.

This eccentric collection of acts join the 2023 line-up which includes;

PRIMAL SCREAM – (SATURDAY HEADLINER) Over the past three and a half decades, Primal Scream have embraced everything from psychedelic pop to degenerate rock’n’roll, euphoric rave to industrial gloom and captured the mood of the nation several times over. They have made records with George Clinton and Kate Moss, invited Mani of the Stone Roses and Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine into the fold &  throughout it all, they have always sounded like Primal Scream. And they have always made great music.  Musical disrupters in every sense, the band are part of Britain’s cultural heritage. 30 years since the release of the revolutionary Screamadelica and 11 studio albums later, their songs still resonate with everyone from every generation to have ever found themselves on a dancefloor.

SYMPHONIC IBIZA – (SUNDAY HEADLINER) Features some of the most famous Ibiza club anthems from the last 30 years presented in a new and totally unexpected way. Created by DJ and Producer Andy Joyce, (Pacha, Amnesia, Eden, Café Mambo) and accomplished composer and musical director Steve Etherington, Symphonic Ibiza fuses the best Ibiza dance anthems with a DJ, vocalists and a thrilling live Orchestra creating an incredible night of euphoric dancing, banging tunes and stunning high tempo performances.
