This Daze are a buzzy punk band from Norway. ‘Cigarette Smile’ has been produced by Matias Tellez (girl in red) and captures the don’t-give-a-fuck energy of 90s US punk and comes with a classic scuzzy fisheye rehearsal room video to boot.
The track is being released through Listen Loud Records/AWAL and follows from their single ‘Skiptracing’ last year which went straight on the playlist of NRK P3 (the Norwegian equivalent to BBC 6Music).
This Daze emerged in late 2019 and have released a string of singles which have seen them become championed as NRK P3’s ‘Unsigned Band Of The Month’, and achieve critical acclaim from the likes of The Fader, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash and more.
They have a fervent fanbase in Norway and sell out club shows across the country. Now that restrictions have lifted they’ll be heading off on their next tour this month. Their international critical acclaim also proves they are setting the scene alight far beyond the Nordics.

Born in Manchester, lived in Australia for 22 years where i was heavily involved in the Australian Music Industry, firstly in bands (Singer) and then managing bands (all original), I moved back to the UK, Wales specifically 10 years ago and married my childhood sweetheart and life is good.
