Widely known for their emphatic, earth-shattering, and raucous live show, Amyl & The Sniffers are a stand-out addition to this year’s Wide Awake line-up. Signed to Rough Trade Records, the Aussie band burst onto the scene in 2018 with a monumental set at The Great Escape festival and have to date released two studio albums – most recently in 2021 with their critically and commercially successful ‘Comfort To Me’ – been nominated and won multiple awards, and become known as one of the most exciting new bands on the alternative music circuit. Having played a monumental show at the WindmillBrixton back in 2018, their Wide Awake performance will be a homecoming as they take to the Windmill Stage this May in what is set to be one of the performances of the weekend!

Joining them are Brooklyn natives Nation Of Language. Embracing New York’s rich music culture with their new wave indie pop, the band has received huge critical success in their relatively short career, with the NME awarding their 2021 album ‘A Way Forward’ with a 5* review, calling it a “magical synth-pop exploration”. Now, Nation Of Language are looking to build on their success and will play a not-to-be-missed set at Brockwell Park this May!
