FEATURING THE SINGLES ‘U DONT KNO ME’ AND ‘CANT CELEBRATE’
ALSO SHARES VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE ‘DOWN BAD’
Nashville-based Mississippi bedroom-pop sensation Yot Club has released his highly anticipated debut album off the grid,
Starting as a soundcloud project from his bedroom in small town Mississippi, Yot Club (real name Ryan Kaiser) has experienced an unbelievable ascent over the last two years, amassing over 400 million streams and rising from niche internet producer to a bonafide alt-pop pioneer.
Bringing a multitude of genres into play, the Yot Club sound is remarkably unique and forward thinking, pitting lo-fi production against ingenious use of melody and lyrical craft, culminating in a sound that feels effortless and familiar.
Kaiser’s highly anticipated debut album off the grid is released today via Amuse, and features the hugely successful singles ‘u dont kno me’ and ‘cant celebrate’ alongside new single ‘down bad’ which has a video out today
Speaking about ‘down bad’, Yot Club said: “My sleep schedule was really bad at the time that I made these songs and you hear that referenced a couple times in this one. I was not living very healthy and kind of just taking things day by day. This eventually forced me into having a pretty negative view of myself, so when someone expressed interest in me I would think “damn you must be down bad”. Things have gotten a lot better since and I love this song because it’s kind of a window to the past now.”
UK tour dates from Yot Club are expected later in the year, for now off the grid is available to stream here, with the full tracklist below.
