Speaking about the collaboration, SCRT founders Chris Narey and Adam Kirk comment:
“Getting the opportunity to work with The Streets was pretty huge. Mike Skinner was seminal, and definitely an early influence for us as kids. At the time, Original Pirate Material came out of nowhere, it changed the way we listened to music; we grew up to that album.
The guys came by with this huge box of stuff they’d saved from the original releaseā¦ Slide photos, saved copies of magazines and newspaper clippings from the 2002 launch. Seeing those photo slides, and the notes/faxes from radio DJs discussing how much they wanted to play the releases, really brought it all to life.
My life is a soundtrack, i track my life through music, photography is my passion, my escape, my expression. Without both i have pieces missing, thankfully i’m blessed and get to combine both.
Born in Manchester, lived in Australia for 22 years where i was heavily involved in the Australian Music Industry, firstly in bands (Singer) and then managing bands (all original), I moved back to the UK, Wales specifically 10 years ago
