The first edition of Gotobeat Festival will be hosted with Strand Magazine of King’s College London. An all-day blowout for the end of summer, it will be held in Signature Brew Blackhorse Road on Saturday, September 17th from 2pm onwards.
BILK will headline the event and will be joined by other rising bands / artists: L’Objectif, Youth Sector, Sugarthief, Good Future and Nick Mono.
A competition has been held for student DJs across all London universities to submit their mix for 5 festival slots, which will provide a great opportunity for them to perform in front of a diverse audience.
“This festival is a great way to show what we have achieved so far as a company,” said Max Busin of Gotobeat, “our commitment to bring together a live music community that gives the audience a great experience, supports independent artists and great venues like the Signature Brew.”
Signature Brew is reinventing what it means to be a brewery. They are on a mission to unite people through the power of fresh beer, great music and unforgettable experiences.
Their ethos, along with their commitment to the community and the environment, means they’re the only brewery to have won SIBA’s prestigious Brewery Of The Year Award twice (2018 & 2021).
Limited edition beers have also been brewed for this event.
Strand Magazine is a student-made and student-led bimonthly arts and culture magazine in central London. Paying homage to the original Strand Magazine that was founded in 1891 and discontinued in 1950, it was independently founded by Samuel Antonio Turner in January 2017, establishing itself as one of London’s most active student publications.
