XOYO Birmingham announces hot ticket shows for 2025

 

Including Peter Doherty, White Denim, Nieve Ella, Dr Dre Orchestra, The Murder Capital and Indiepalooza, a dynamic music programme of international touring talent, emerging artists and immersive events, awaits.
 
XOYO Birmingham, a cultural haven in the city’s nightlife scene, has revealed a dynamic mix of live music programming throughout 2025 under its XOYO : LIVE banner. Featuring the best in international touring talent through exciting, emerging artists and immersive indoor festivals, XOYO Birmingham continues to serve as a focal point and vital supporter of live music for the Midlands.
 
Hot tickets include indie-pop icon in the making, Nieve Ella (9 Mar), Peter Doherty (13 Mar) celebrating the release his first solo album in nine years, Felt Better Alive, and Dubliner’s The Murder Capital (17 Apr) who are geared up to showcase exciting new sonic avenues as heard in their third studio album, Blindness, complete with a DJ set at the afterparty for Birmingham’s night owls.

 

 

The diverse offering continues with international appearances from New York digital hardcore duo, Machine Girl (11 Mar), arguably one of best rock bands to emerge out of Austin, Texas, White Denim (12 Mar), while bringing her unique sound of Greek and Balkan music with urban vibes and pop / rap is rising talent, Marina Satti (2 Apr).

There are a series of immersive events lined up too, including Emo Festival (18 Apr) with a live band, performers, and DJs spinning the biggest nostalgic emo anthems that the teenage dirtbag heart desires. At Dr Dre Orchestra (30 May), expect no ordinary orchestral event with a full standing crowd, DJ’s, lyricists and singers performing 25 years of Dr Dre; and indie-rock tribute festival Indiepalooza (13 Jun) features leading tributes to the Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Sam Fender, all night long.

 

 

XOYO Birmingham continues to place itself at the heart of the live music scene in the Midlands as a key stop in tour programming, with the only 700-capacity live room in the city that allows for an up-close and personal experience for artists and audiences alike.
 
The venue – known for its ethos rooted in inclusivity – encompasses five standalone venues: the XOYO Main Room, open-air spaces The Roof Garden and The Yard plus further spaces A/V and The Factory, hosting up to nearly 3,000 music lovers in Digbeth.
