As they gear up to make their anticipated live return to the UK this Autumn, Sydney-based alt-rock band RedHook unleash new single today, Bomb.com. Produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (UnderoathParamore), it is the latest single off their forthcoming sophomore record ‘Mutation‘ – out Friday22nd NovemberPre-order HERE.

‘Bomb.com’ is a snarling nu metal-meets-rock song with electro-hop undertones and maniacal sass that sees frontwoman Emmy Mack spit fiery rap bars aimed at an unnamed misogynist.

Speaking about the new single front woman Emmy Mack said, “‘Bomb.com’ is basically just a big fun diss track about an egomaniacal dude in the music industry who likes to talk a lot of shit, particularly about female-fronted bands. Lame AF behaviour that we felt compelled to take the living piss out of. Craig also added these really sick synths for extra hype that were inspired by that song ‘Like A G6’. This one’s gonna be so much fun to play live!”

Accompanying the announcement of their album, RedHook recently made their long-awaited debut on triple j’s Like A Version with a punk-goes-pop twist on Tate McCrae’s ‘Greedy‘. ‘Mutation’ will be stacked with previous singles’ Pyromaniac‘Cannibal’ feat. Alpha Wolf, Breaking Up With‘, ‘Scream 2‘ and ‘Tourist‘ and see RedHook double down on everything that makes them one of the most exciting and paradigm-shifting bands in the modern heavy space.
