“NECESSARY EVIL ” RELEASED ON May 21st. on DEW PROCESS
Tyne-James Organ is an Australian singer-songwriter from Wollongong, New South Wales, residing in Melbourne, Australia.
Australian music had its highlights in the 80’s and 90’s, with bands like INXS, Midnight Oil, AC/DC, Crowded House and Nick Cave all hitting the big time, but recently there has been a bit of a lull in proceedings and it is such a pity, because having lived there for over 20 years, music in Australia was a very important commodity that had its own identity and bands like The Underground Lovers, Hunters and Collectors and Burn Baby Burn went unnoticed other than in their homeland.
Yet, here in Tyne-James Organ, a young man from Melbourne, we have a whole new generational voice, that matches it with the big boys in passion, energy and great song writing. Think Snow Patrol, think early Coldplay, think wow! With a perfect rock voice melted into lyrical chocolate, Organ hides absolutely nothing and clearly has a confidence that brings that voice to the forefront without trying to disguise it with noise.
Musically the album wears it’s own headphones and rocks along unaware of any outside distractions and you will find yourself enveloped in its intended fears, stories and passions, without noticing the time or day or that pot on the stove.
Talent is often a word bandied around for all sorts of meaningless things, but believe me when I say, this young Australian has an endless bucketful of it and is going to be on the next list of Aussie greats when it gets written. Do yourself a favour and give this boy an hour or two of your time because you deserve it…and so does he.

My life is a soundtrack, i track my life through music, photography is my passion, my escape, my expression. Without both i have pieces missing, thankfully i’m blessed and get to combine both.
Born in Manchester, lived in Australia for 22 years where i was heavily involved in the Australian Music Industry, firstly in bands (Singer) and then managing bands (all original), I moved back to the UK, Wales specifically 10 years ago
