LONG AWAITED UK HEADLINE TOUR KICKS OFF THIS WEEK
“One of UK rock’s most thrilling newcomers” – NM E
The Pale White have released surprise new single ‘Never Enough’
‘Never Enough’ is the band’s first piece of new music since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Infinite Pleasure in April, a record that established The Pale White as one of the UK’s hottest rock prospects.
Infinite Pleasure was a long time coming from the Newcastle trio, who have proved themselves as a tour de force both live and on record throughout their ascent over the last few years. The album featured the huge singles ‘Glue’ and ‘Take Your Time’, and ‘That Dress’.
Now, ahead of their long awaited UK headline tour which starts this week, the band have whet the appetite of fans with surprise new single ‘Never Enough’. A driving, gloriously scuzzy anthem in waiting, ‘Never Enough’ captures The Pale White at their best, pitting a huge chorus and soaring melodies against gritty instrumental undertones.
Speaking about ‘Never Enough’, The Pale White said: “As we began wrapping up the album session, we realised there was an hour or two to spare. “Where do you think you’re going? Sit yourself right back down mate”, we said to the producer Jolyon Thomas. I think we had went a bit stir crazy by that point. Lacking vitamin D, claustrophobic and a bit twitchy, which I think shines through ‘Never Enough’. It didn’t make the album in the end, but after a year away from it, it sounds like the perfect Christmas anthem for December 2021.
The Pale White’s UK headline tour kickd of this week with their biggest hometown show to date at Newcastle’s Boiler Room. Tickets are on sale now, and the full list of dates can be found below.
