Gloom Division The new album from iDKHOW (short for I Don’t Know How But They Found Me), is a glimpse into the wonderland of Dallon Weekes previously the bassist for Panic! at the Disco and is an almost perfect blend of various genres, creating a sound that draws inspiration from alternative rock, new wave, and indie pop. fusing modern and classic elements, creating a sound that feels both familiar and innovative

From the first notes of the opening track “ Downside “ with its drum machines, synths, big punchy chorus and piano, you get those feels

Gloom Division, is full of heavy bass lines and 80’s vibes, funky guitars, and lyrics dripping with social commentary, exploring themes of identity, nostalgia, and self-discovery, with Dallon Weekes distinctive vocals give the record such a unique vibe.

The record bounces between big stadium-sized anthems to slow ballads.

The record has that iDKHOW stamp we all know but with Dallon having full artistic licence on Gloom Division, it has an added extra something that makes you sit up and take notice

Think 1975 and The Killers
