Platinum-selling British singer-songwriter James TW, whose music has accumulated over 2.5 billion streams, announces his upcoming European tour today. The 14-show tour will kick off in Amsterdam on April 1 and conclude in Dublin on April 28. Tickets will go on sale November 26 at 10am UK time.

“It’s been 3 years and 1 album since I last went on tour,” says James. “I fell in love with music by performing & playing drums before I’d even written my first song. It will always be my calling & favourite part of music. So it’s difficult to find words to describe how excited I am for this tour but I’m sure you’ll be able to see it on stage.”

Speaking on the new album, James says: “Heartbeat Changes Part 1 is a collection of songs documenting the emotions & realizations I had after the only break up I’ve ever gone through last year. It’s honest & as personal as my music has even been.” HEARTBEAT CHANGES (PART 1) is the next eagerly awaited episode in James TW’s saga. Following the release of his debut album Chapters in April 2019 (featuring his billion-streaming “When You Love Someone” along with “Say Love,” and “You & Me,” and accompanying sold-out 10-city European tour, James had commenced work on his next musical ‘chapter’ at the top of 2020. As the world went into pandemic lockdown, he found himself at the end of a six-year relationship. Confronting a flurry of turbulent emotions, he turned to music. “Everything I wrote was about the breakup,” he admitted. “I basically met her when I was 15 years old. We started going out a year later. We were living together. I was honestly planning the rest of my life around her. It was obviously a big shock to the system, so the songs came flooding out. I wanted to capture all of the different emotions in the aftermath.”

James TW is best known for his breakout debut single of 2018, “When You Love Someone,” which has amassed over 1 billion streams, has received platinum certification in the US and UK, double-platinum in Denmark and the Netherlands, and triple-platinum in Norway and Sweden. James has toured with Shawn Mendes and Andy Grammar and captivated millions of viewers on television shows, including Ellen and The Today Show. Along with this has come acclaim from Billboard, Atwood magazine, Huffington Post, Teen Vogue, and many others, coupled with over 1 million copies sold of his debut album Chapters, 10 songs that have accumulated over 2.5 billion total artist streams, and 150 million video views to date. With the September 2021 arrival of HEARTBEAT CHANGES (PART 1), the first part of his long-awaited second album project, James is already on the threshold of a standout year. Widely appealing but hardly typical, his songs demonstrate critical elements of experienced songwriting that resonate with ease and a sense of staying power that is rare in today’s pop music.
